If you’ve ever wished Central Florida could feel a little more like fall, this extended family photo session in Celebration, FL was proof that sometimes, the stars align and you get that cozy autumn feeling right here at home!
I met up with Luis, Alexis, their sweet baby M, and Alexis’ parents and stepmother for what turned out to be a super heartwarming family session. Baby M was the very first baby in the family at the time, so you can imagine the level of excitement and love radiating from every single person there! All eyes were on him! He was the star of the show, snuggled in with mom and dad and soaking up all the adoration of his grandparents.
A Last-Minute Location Change Turned Lucky Find
Originally, we had planned this session in the main square of Celebration. But as life (and small-town charm) would have it, a festival popped up at our original spot. Instead of stressing, I drove around the area and found a new location nearby, and honestly, I’m so glad I did! The new setting looked like something straight out of a northern fall postcard!
There were crunchy leaves all over the sidewalks, the trees were showing hints of yellow and orange, and the cloudy skies added just the right amount of coziness to the photos. It literally felt like we weren’t in Florida at all! It gave the whole session that perfect fall vibe.

His grandparents couldn’t stop gushing over him, it was clear this was such a special milestone not just for mom and dad, but for the whole family.
